Sherlock Holmes

I have never been completely enamored of Sherlock Holmes. Reading the stories was a mixed bag of enjoying the style but not so much the structure of the mystery. I really liked the Jeremy Brett interpretation. I recall reading Sherlock Holmes's War of the Worlds and not liking it because I was much more a Wells fan. Well, Robert Downy Jr. is going to be Holmes this Christmas.
