Pulp Cover Art

At last year's TeslaCon, local artist Jacob Wilson offered me art. I had plenty of ideas and gave him lots of references, not only photos of my appearance but my personna background. He had the idea of doing a pulp cover and I gave him a few more ideas.

And I also talked with him, as I have also previously posted, concerning my idea that even though he is doing the art for me, I am not the subject. I am cosplaying Vitruvius Pike and so he is interpreting that character rather than me. Although I gave him a lot of references, I didn't want him to feel limited or controlled.

At opening ceremonies, I was standing in the hallway, as is pretty much typical for me. Ive seen these things many times before. It was there that I was presented with the result and IT IS ABSOLUTELY SPECTACULAR! I was speechless. Overwhelmed. Almost tearful. I could not have asked for any better.
